ChemCalc is a chemical calculator designed to determine the concentration of mixtures based on the mass and concentration of two individual solutions. It provides a versatile toolset that allows you to perform these calculations across various combinations of known and unknown parameters.
Modes of calculations
Mode 0 (m1, Cp1): Based on the known final mass of the mixture and the parameters of the second component, the program calculates the required mass of the first component (m1) and its concentration (Cp1) to achieve the desired final result.
Mode 1 (mk, Cpk): This is a classic mixing mode – after entering the mass and concentration of both components, the program calculates the final mixture parameters, namely its total mass (mk) and resulting concentration (Cpk).
Mode 2 (m1, mk): The program calculates what mass of the first component (m1) needs to be added to a known mass of the second component to achieve the target final concentration after mixing, along with the final mass (mk).
Mode 3 (m1, m2): Useful when the desired final concentration and final mass of the mixture are known. The program calculates how much of each individual component (m1 and m2) should be measured out to obtain a mixture with the specified parameters.
Mode 4 (m1, Cpk): Calculates the mass of the first component (m1) and the resulting final concentration (Cpk) of the mixture, assuming the final mass and the parameters of the second component are known.
Mode 5 (Cp1, mk, Cpk): An advanced mode where the program calculates the final mass and expresses the final concentration as a function of the first component’s concentration (Cp1), which helps analyze how component concentrations impact the mixing result.

The program also includes built-in safety checks (data validation) that verify whether the entered masses and concentrations are physically possible, displaying warnings if the calculations would lead to negative values or incorrect assumptions (e.g., concentration exceeding 100%).
